Sydney’s Seymour Centre has announced its 2024 theatre program, five productions presented in partnership with some of the city’s leading independent theatre companies.

The season begins in April with the Australian premiere (presented by Outhouse Theatre and directed by Craig Baldwin) of US writer Samuel D. Hunter’s A Case for the Existence of God, a comedy drama that introducing us to two men who at first glance have nothing in common. Ryan is undereducated, hopeless with money and reeling from a painful divorce. Keith is polished, financially savvy, and the gay single caretaker of a foster daughter.
But when Ryan seeks Keith’s help to secure a loan and buy back 12 acres of land that once belonged to the family, the two come to understand that their commonalities are more profound than their surface differences.
