Season Preview: Your guide to the arts in 2023

It is a great thrill to think that in 2023, we will be welcoming young singers from all over Australia back to “where they belong”: Gondwana National Choral School. The January season is a much-anticipated musical feast for young singers. It’s a chance to sing and hear great choral music, catch up with old friends and make new ones who live on the other side of the country.

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing so many great young Australian musicians come through Gondwana’s ranks over the years. AJ America, alumna of both Gondwana Voices and Gondwana Chorale and now Artistic Director of Luminesence Chamber Singers, will join us for the first time as a conductor this year. Our current Associate Artistic Director, Sam Allchurch, was himself a member of Gondwana Voices.
