The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and London Symphony Orchestra have announced a mutually beneficial cultural partnership, one that will facilitate touring opportunities, co-commissions, and the chance to cross-promote emerging artists from both Australia and the UK. Acting High Commissioner to the UK, Lynette Wood, launched the four-year initiative at an event held at the Australian High Commission in London.

“This is a chance for musicians from both countries to deepen their understanding of each other, united through their passion for music-making at the highest level.
