The company’s new Artist Nights will allow theatre creatives to access mainstage productions for less.
Having the chance to be immersed in the local theatre scene is vital to the development of a vibrant theatre community, but the soaring price of tickets can often make attending those all important performances financially prohibitive.
The Melbourne Theatre Company hope to address this issue, announcing today the beginning of a game-changing initiative to allow theatre artists to see the work of their peers for an affordable price. MTC’s new Artist Nights initiative will allow anyone working in the theatre industry subsidised access for just $29 to all MTC mainstage productions. Not only will this allow theatre creatives to learn more about the company, it will also provide invaluable opportunities for vital networking with other members of the industry.
