In its latest round of grants, Creative Australia is to invest over $1.7 million in 10 performing arts tours through its Playing Australia Project Investment, which supports artists and companies travelling to regional and remote communities across Australia.

The latest Playing Australia investments will reach audiences in 81 different locations.

Alice Nash, the Director of Arts Investment, said, “All Australians, no matter where they live, should have the opportunity to immerse themselves in exceptional arts experiences. This investment through Playing Australia makes it possible for more Australians, particularly young people and their families, to experience world-class performances in their hometowns.”
