SeasonPreview: Your guide to the arts in 2025

North Sydney’s Willoughby Symphony Orchestra (WSO) has revealed its 2025 season. Curated by Dr Nicholas Milton, its long-serving Chief Conductor and Artistic Director, the orchestra will deliver concerts throughout the year encompassing a range of classical masterpieces, film score presentations and the WSO’s beloved festive programs.

The announcement comes on the heels of a record-breaking year for the WSO, which recorded a 212% increase in subscription sales from 2023.

Beethoven Triple

The season opens on 22 – 23 February with Beethoven’s ‘Triple’ Concerto with the WSO and the award-winning Estivo Trio joining forces to bring this masterpiece to life.

The ‘Triple’ is known for its intricate interplay between soloists and orchestra, creating a rich tapestry of sound that is both challenging and rewarding for the performers and the audience.
