2022's festival is nearly double the length of last year's, with the organisers able "to invite a lot more international artists to come and play with us."

MRC has announced composer and performer Mindy Meng Wang and conductor and instrumentalist Erin Helyard as Artists in Residence for 2022.

The second part of the MRC’s season, running from April to June, includes performances by Amadou and Mariam, Julia Jacklin, Mindy Meng Wang and Flinders Quartet.

December’s playlist is entirely constructed from 2021 releases. It’s been a great chance to look through what’s been happening through an intense and stressful year – and the amazing work our composers and performers have done.

Programmed by Artistic Director Annette Shun Wah, OzAsia Festival 2021 features 300 artists including musicians Belle Chen and Mindy Meng Wang, writer Benjamin Law, and dancer Raghav Handa.
