“Melbourne Recital Centre launches its 2022 program with a renewed sense of optimism, energy and celebration, as we welcome an extraordinary cross section of music makers back to our stages. We’ve always strived to try and represent the rich body of music made by Melbourne artists and musicians, complemented by bold, original and fabulous artists from around Australia and the world,” said Marshall McGuire, MRC’s Director of Programming.

Made up predominantly of artists who had performances at MRC cancelled over the last two years, the season has been curated with a focus on re-establishing the centre as a hub for live music in Melbourne. The title Evolve aims to encourage audiences to step out of their comfort zones and experience something new.
