Claire Edwardes launches her new album Dual Attractor this month with shows in Sydney (9 March, ACO Studio) and in Melbourne (Melbourne Recital Centre, 18 March). Among the works she’ll be playing are Kate Moore‘s darkly playful I Promise Not, the album’s title track, Dual Attractor, created with electro-pop artist and composer Paul Mac, and Emberstrike by Natalie Williams, a vibraphone solo honouring the “Women of Steel” at Port Kembla, whose fight for the right to work in the steelworks reshaped Australian employment law.
