After last year’s launch of Apple Music Classical, Apple has now launched an in-app chart, Apple Classical Top 100, to show today’s most popular classical albums globally.

The list will be updated every Monday on the Apple Music Classical Home tab, combining five data sources from over 165 countries including Apple Music Classical streams, Apple Music streams, iTunes downloads, iTunes song sales and Shazam tags.

The inaugural Apple Classical Top 100 No. 1 album is Bach: Keyboard Concertos with Chinese pianist Tianqi Du and the Academy of St Martins in the Fields conducted by Jonathan Bloxham.
