Out West Piano Fest returns to Bathurst this Spring for another weekend of world-class piano accompanied by some of the region’s best food and wines.

In its third year, the festival (25–27 October) takes place at Blackdown Farm, the beautiful 17-acre estate just outside of Bathurst formerly owned (and impressively restored) by Australian artist Tim Storrier.
Curated by pianist and festival Music Director Konstantin Shamray, the event will present five themed concerts featuring leading Australian pianists Lee Dionne, Vatche Jambazian and Grace Kim, who will join Shamray to showcase works by Mendelssohn (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Stravinsky (his Firebird Suite), Chopin, Liszt, Bach, Schumann, Mussorgsky and Prokofiev. Two superb concert grand pianos are being imported for the event and all concerts feature allocated seating.
Shamray regularly performs at international level with the world’s leading orchestras and concerts. Dionne shares his time between the US and Australia.
