Held over three days from 8 to 10 August at Dubbo’s Macquarie Conservatorium, Playerlink is a dynamic workshop designed to help secondary school music students develop their ensemble skills and performance confidence.
Led by professional musicians from the SSO, the program immerses participants in Years 5–8 in a series of rehearsals, sectionals and masterclasses in a fast-paced but supportive environment.
As well as encouraging young players to take their abilities to the next level and enjoy the energy of playing alongside others, Playerlink offers students a taste of the professional orchestral world.
The workshop is open to intermediate and advanced secondary students and costs $180 per participant. Families sending more than one child can access a discounted rate of $150 for each additional student.
Attendance is required on all three days, with full scheduling details to be confirmed closer to the event.
