Celebrating its 50th birthday this year, Sydney Opera House is determined to become “everyone’s house” with a new initiative that will see events streamed live from the Concert Hall and Joan Sutherland Theatres to a massive open-air cinema on the Forecourt.

Inside/Out audiences will pay just $10 to access the space and take in performances from the London Symphony Orchestra, The Australian Ballet, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Sydney Philharmonia Choirs and the Australian Chamber Orchestra.

“The 50th anniversary is a fantastic opportunity to show off the Opera House, especially at a time when the city itself is becoming more confident and busy,” says Sydney Opera House Director of Programming, Fiona Winning. “We really want to underline the idea that the Opera house really is for everyone to enjoy.”
