Anyone who has seen Bernadette Robinson perform will know that she has an uncanny ability to impersonate famous singers across a broad spectrum of genres and styles.

She has such an incredible vocal range and rich array of colours and tones that she would be a formidable singer in her own right, but the way she is able to change her voice to mimic others – from pop stars to opera singers – is extraordinary.

Following the success of Songs for Nobodies, Pennsylvania Avenue and The Show Goes On, she is currently performing her latest solo show Divas, co-devised with Simon Phillips, who also directs.

In it, Robinson channels 10 divas, some of whom she has performed before, some of whom she is tackling for the first time. It’s quite a lineup: Kate Bush, Shirley Bassey, Karen Carpenter, Edith Piaf, Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus, Barbra Streisand, Maria Callas, Amy Winehouse and Judy Garland.
