Clive Paget is a former Limelight Editor, now Editor-at-Large, and a tour leader for Limelight Arts Travel. Based in London after three years in New York, he writes for The Guardian, BBC Music Magazine, Gramophone, Musical America and Opera News. Before moving to Australia, he directed and developed new musical theatre for London’s National Theatre.

There’s usually plenty to see around New York as we head into the summer but this year the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact all arts events with nothing available on Broadway or in concert halls and the summer festivals now all abandoned. Museums and galleries are still closed, and although restaurants and bars are expected to gradually open, social distancing will be the order of the day.
