As a musician, what does it mean to bring your entire self to the stage? Is it key to connecting with your audience authentically, and if so, what do you need in a performance to feel more yourself? Celia Craig’s new project aims to answer these and showcase the full spectrum of herself and her collaborators.

Celia Craig is a celebrated oboe and cor anglais soloist playing with symphony orchestras around the globe. She runs multiple chamber music groups and her own record label, and won the Excellence in Classical Music at the 2023 Australian Women in Music Awards.

As a National Library of Australia 2024 Creative Arts Fellow, she began researching the music and synesthesia of Australian composer Miriam Hyde and realised there were entire layers to Miriam’s experience as musician left unexplored.
