Australian Romantic & Classical Orchestra: Viennese Vogue
Clarinet virtuoso Nicole van Bruggen is joined by Peter Clark and Julia Russionello on violin, Simon Oswell on viola and Daniel Yeadon on cello, as they tour the country with a program that includes Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet, the Clarinet Quartet by his protégé Hummel, and Schubert’s unfinished String Trio. Van Bruggen plays a Mozart basset clarinet replica, which was built in the Parisian atelier of Agnès Guéroult to mark the composer’s 250th birthday celebrations in 2006.
