The classical music program this year features an important debut for KLASSIK Underground, the ensemble founded by Australian violist and member of the Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig, Tahlia Petrosian. Across three nights, the Dom Poski Centre will feature an intimate, immersive contemporary music concert series with live visuals from Australian artists including CAPITAL WASTE (Liam Somerville), Robin Fox and Margie Medlin. With Webern and Schönberg, Shostakovich, Gubaidulina and Silvestrov, and a performance of Steve Reich’s iconic Different Trains for String Quartet and Tape, it looks unmissable.
