Connection, chaos or calm? This collaboration by Richard Tognetti, director Nigel Jamieson and cinematographer Jon Frank explores what we feel as part of a crowd. Featuring The Song Company, this multi-disciplinary work follows in the tradition of ACO’s groundbreaking Luminous in 2005. Against a musical backdrop of works by Bach, Shostakovich, Sibelius, Chopin, Ives, Feldman and Tognetti, this confronting yet life-affirming journey visits the world’s most densely populated areas, from the banks of the Ganges to ever-expanding metropolises and refugee camps.
